A Brief History
Online shopping has not aways been with us. We used to have only the option of jumping in our car and going to a brick-and-mortar store to purchase things. We had to do that or go without.
Then in the late 1970’s things began to change. Around 1979 an English inventor named Mihael Aldron developed a system called Teleshopping.
It was basically a transaction-processing computer hooked to a modified television via a telephone line.
